March 2012 Pet of the Month: Mitey

Mitey is an almost-two year old Vizsla whom I have had the privilege of knowing and taking care of since she was a wee puppy of 8 weeks old.  This is her when she was still a young thing:

Mitey’s owners, Ryan and Anna, are exemplary dog owners: they feed her an excellent diet, give her lots of love and toys, crate trained her from the beginning, have been very conscientious and disciplined about her training and, knowing how much energy Vizslas have, they make sure to give her a lot of exercise.  That’s partially where I come in: I’ve been paying Mitey mid-day visits to let her out of her crate and give her exercise since she was still a little Mite!

Mitey has such a beautiful personality!  She is so sweet, affectionate, cuddly, playful, and clownish!  Just look at this face!

Mitey’s favorite thing is playing with sticks, and the bigger the stick, the better. She LOVES them!

Anyway, considering what a huge part of each others’ lives we’ve been, she was well overdue for being Pet of the Month.  I love you, little Mitey!
